The organising committee of WISA-MTC
’09 invites the submission of
abstracts for oral presentations or
posters on the following general
topics:

Reverse osmosis, nanofiltration,
ultrafiltration and microfiltration
fundamentals and/or technologies
·
Desalination processes
·
Industrial and mining wastewater
applications
·
Production of potable water
·
Production of ultrapure water
·
Hybrid and novel processes
·
Membrane bioreactors and
applications
·
Post-treatment processes
·
Regulation and emerging issues
·
Case studies
The abstract should contain the
following information:
- Introduction
- Brief description of experimental procedures/project/pilot programme
- Results and Discussion
- Reference
Abstracts will undergo a preliminary
review process to establish
relevance to the conference themes.
Abstracts have become increasingly
important with the growth of
electronic data storage. In
preparing abstracts, authors should
give brief, factual information
about the objectives, methods,
results and conclusions of the work.
Unsubstantiated viewpoints should
not be included. Do not cite
references in an abstract. Your
abstract should not exceed 1/2 page
and should be limited to 300 words.

Abstracts, Papers, Presentations
and Posters
The author can elect for their
abstract to be considered for oral
presentation,
for a poster presentation, or
both.
The abstract should have a maximum
length of two A4 pages of text,
diagrams and illustrations, and
should include:

·
Author’s title, name and affiliation
·
Postal address, email, telephone and
fax numbers
·
Three to six keywords
The
paper should contain the following
headings
·
Abstract

Introduction

Results and Discussion
· Experimental
procedures/project/pilot programme
· Results and Discussion
· Conclusions

·
Regulation and emerging issues
·
Case studies
At least one author from each paper
must have registered and paid by the
registration deadline and must
attend the conference to present the
paper.
Presenters must
pay their own expenses to attend the
conference.
